Teaching Assistant - The Cove
About US
The Cove (satellite provision) (formerly known as the Selworthy Specialist Provision at Court Fields) is an exciting project which was established in September 2022. The provision has enabled more support for learners, with an EHCP, who live locally in Wellington.
There are a small team of specialist staff and they are also supported by a Link Teacher who is on site at Court Fields. The satellite provision is currently based at The Cleve as we await the transformation of the Youth Centre. This will enable learners to have more independence moving between sites.
Learners have modified timetables to give them the best of both worlds! On Court Fields site, they have tailored support in lessons with adapted work and communication aids where appropriate. At The Cove, learners have individual, personalised timetables enabling them to focus on EHCP targets, interventions, core subjects and homework.
